This article is an outright lie. The first post in this Inn/Group of this site has a link to the policies of the CPC in their post-convention form that is presented for the next election. There is a section in there on the environment. The only environmental policy of the ones that made it to the floor that got voted down was one that would extend federal water regulations to interior regions – an obviously problematic proposal. A farmer came up and spoke against this proposal on the convention floor, his statement was simple, clear, and powerful.

There was no focus on regulating women’s bodies in committees, policy, and not on the floor. The concern about Health, Freedom, and MAIDs was top of mind though. Some media sources tried to spin that as a divisive abortion debate.
